UFT Parent Leadership Series

 UFT Parent Leadership Series The Parent Leadership Series is an annual event that has brought hundreds of parents together from all five boroughs. Parent leaders engage in workshops, gain valuable resources, and learn from elected officials, experts from various sectors and other experienced parent advocates. If you're passionate about advocating for your child's school and community, this is the perfect opportunity to take an active role and make a difference! The Parent Leadership Series will be held on the following consecutive Saturdays in May: Saturday, May 10, 2025:9 A.M.- 12 P.M. - 52 Broadway / New York, NY 10004 Saturday, May 17, 2025:9 A.M.- 12 P.M. Certificate ceremony to be held at the New York Hilton Midtown Attendees must plan to attend all sessions. Continental breakfast and lunch will be provided, along with Metro Cards for free public transportation. Zearn

ZEARN LET'S HELP YOUR CHILD LOVE LEARNING MATH. Our school is using Zearn Math to help your child make the most of their math learning this year. 2 ÷ 2 ½ pound 2 pounds Zearn Math is a nonprofit learning platform your child will use to complete online math lessons. In each lesson, your child will: Explore the important math ideas of their grade with an on-screen Zearn teacher Make sense of math with pictures and interactive models Solve math problems in lots of different activities, all with built-in math help Research shows that students who complete Zearn Math lessons each week significantly increase their math scores. Your child already has a school-issued account and will complete Zearn Math lessons during the school day. Students can also complete Zearn Math lessons outside of school. Zearn is available online 24/7 and can be accessed by logging in through the district's Clever portal. Here are tips for supporting your child's learning with Zearn Math. You can also reach out to your child's teacher for more information about their progress. For any questions about Zearn, email support@zearn.org.
